Thanksgiving Pickup 11/22/13-11/28/13

I hope all is well with everyone and their families. I just wanted to send you a reminder that the Thanksgiving pick up started on Friday November 22, 2013 - Thursday November 28, 2013. You can come on any of those days. All of your shares will be in plastic bags and I put a sign on how many to take so it will be easy to understand. The Full Shares can take 2 bags of each crop share and the half share can take 1 bag of each crop share. I will have the list posted in case you are unsure if you where a 1/2 share or Full share. Just a reminder if anyone has any bins that have not been returned we do need them returned by November 28,2013. We hope that you all have a wonderful thanksgiving and to see you next year. If you have any questions let us know.

As the 2013 CSA Season comes to an end we would like to thank you all for your support during this rough season. Our last pick up week will be this week, the week of October 7, 2013. So the last pick up dates will be on: Monday-October 7, Wednesday-October 9, Friday-October 11, and Saturday-October 12. We will be having Thanksgiving pick up for all our CSA members on November 22-28, 2013. We will have all of your produce shares in bags so we ask that you please return both of your bins by November 28, 2013 to avoid charges. If anyone needs a reminder for the Thanksgiving pick up I have left a sign up sheet in the CSA shed for the next two weeks please leave your name and contact phone number or email if you would like a reminder. We hope that you all have a healthy and happy holiday season. We hope to see you all next year.

Thank you,

The Rothe Family

Daisy helping pick peas.

Daisy is attached at the hip to Ed and this is what happens when she watches Ed pick peas and eat them. So all of a sudden I noticed one of the plants had only 1/2 eaten peas on it. :-) she copies him way to much!!!

CSA pick ups start this week on 6/24/2013

The crops are ready for us to start CSA this year. We are off to a slow rough start this year due to the weather but we are doing all we can to keep everything growing well. We have had to replant some of our crops because of the rain flooding our fields. But we are happy to say we are going to be able to start this week. We look forward to the season and will continue to give it our all.
