Can't wait for fresh melons!

We planted the melons this morning we hope for rain to help them out and give them a good jump start. They where ready to get out of the greenhouse!

We will be starting the week of June 8th!!

I will be emailing you all in the next couple days with your pick up day and your start date. We will be starting the 2nd week of June.

Got 4 rows of beets weeded today!!

Melons are looking good. :-) will be time to plant them out in the fields soon.

Thanks to jean and Ed for fixing the leak on our one row setter we used her this morning and she works great!! Ed, Johnny and I got some cabbages in the ground.

Gene, Johnny and I put some silage around the rhubarb to keep weeds down.

In between taking care of the crops Ed has been busy bush hogging some of the farm to hopefully expand more crops. He is a machine it is amazing how much he does. It looks awesome!!

Our Melons are coming up!!

Busy day yesterday our peas are all weeded and the nets for them to climb on are up.

First round of watermelons planted...now onto muskmelons.

The plastic is on!! Now I have a lot of planting to catch up on all the other greenhouses are full :-)
